The Critics Choice Awards of 2013 were presented January 10, 2013. After several weeks of anticipation and speculation, the winners have been announced and awarded. The talented Daniel Day-Lewis brought home the Best Actor award while Jessica Chastain won Best Actress for her role in “Zero Dark Thirty”. Philip Seymour-Hoffman represented “The Master” when he took home the award for Best Supporting Actor. Anne Hathaway got recognized and awarded for her role in “Les Miserables”. “Django Unchained”, “Lincoln” and “The Master” are just some of the movies that got nominated for the coveted Best Picture award but none of them took home the award. Ben Affleck´s “Argo” won the award for Best Picture of the year, not only that but Ben Affleck also took home the Best Director award.
